I can't believe I haven't blogged since April. I am hoping to start blogging regularly again and with some very cool things.
After being home so long and then going to back to work I had to find some balance in my life and honestly some things had to go. And one of those things was being on the computer all the time. I am hardly on here at all now but hoping to at least jump on here once a day and at least say Hi.
So stay tuned for lots of new and neat things coming....

I'm alive..

Life is crazy but a very good kind of crazy.. Work is wonderful. I still don't like getting up at 5:30 am but I love getting up and going to work .. Kids are all doing good and finally the weather is beautiful. We have been playing outside and getting some yard work done. I can't wait to plant some flowers.
Here is the best part about the nice weather. Getting out on the bike and just riding.
Well time to get some stuff done but I promise to be a better blogger.

A busy busy week..

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. This week turned out to be very busy. I started my new job and love it. I miss not being on CS as much though. I also had to take the dog in for artifical insemination this week and Kinsey had a choir concert. Hopefully this week will be much calmer and I will be back to blogging regularly.
I was upstairs putting laundry away and came down to this. Kylee must have thought Chloe was cold.
Here is all my new clothes I got for work.
And the new shoes I got. don't mind the pea stain on the floor. Still haven't convinced hubby we need new carpet in our room.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day here. 70 and sunny and today it's rainy and yucky, and by this weekend they are expecting snow flurries here. That's Ohio weather for you.
I went Monday and met with the HR lady and officially start this Monday. This is a totally new chapter in my life and I am so nervous and yet so excited. Tomorrow Brooke and I are going shopping to get me business casual clothes and shoes. Shopping with Brooke is like pulling teeth..LOL so wish me luck.
Been getting lots of things done around here this week. Ran errands, got my nails done, cleaned out my car, played outside with the kids, got the house clean and am working on laundry. Have a few other things I want to get caught up on in the next few days so I don't have to try to play catch up next week.
And of course a post is very boring without a picture..so here are the girls yesterday jumping on the trampoline.

Got back this morning from my retreat. It was a great time. I got 20- 12x12 layouts done, 4-8x8 layouts done, laughed alot and got to sit and chat with my best buddy Trish(I am truly sorry you lost your fishy) for 4 days. It was so nice to get away and chat with adults and still get lots done. I haven't done a layout in forever and finally have my grove to do them and thank goodness because the pictures are starting to get out of control. I even came home this morning unpacked all my stuff and re-organized my scrapbook area so I am all ready to be creative again this week.
I guess your all also wondering about the job-- Well I am proud to say I GOT IT!!!
I go Monday morning to meet with the lady in HR. We will go over the employee handbook, policies, benefits and the final offer. I am so excited and can't wait to start. This will be a totally new change for me but it's one I am really looking forward to. I can't wait to actually have a reason to get up in the morning and get all dressed up with someplace to go.
Back to getting things done, enjoy this wonderful weather today!!
Here is a little picture from the retreat:

Had my 3rd interview yesterday and it was actually fun. I interviewed with the VP of the company and he asks very different questions but like I said fun. I also had to ask him 10 questions for them to answer so that was nice. I asked about how long it would take for the decision making process and he told me they would discuss it today and that the HR person would call me by the end of the week or the first of next week if they decide to make me an offer. Which means waiting.. and waiting some more. I don't want to get my hopes to high on this but I am very confident that they will offer me something. Keep your fingers crossed for me because I would love to have a job at this company.

In other news nothing else going on. Just getting ready to leave tomorrow morning for my retreat weekend. I am so excited I can't hardly stand it. This day will drag on forever.
As soon as I hear about the job you will hear about the job.. and don't forget to cross those fingers for me.

Is it time yet???

For my retreat that is. I got all my scrapbooking stuff packed and ready to go. I so need this time away. And I plan to get lots of layouts done.

Also last week I was all but depressed when I still never got the call for the 3rd Interview by Friday I had given up but then Friday around 3:45 she called and I go in Tuesday at 10:00. I am beyond thrilled and have been thinking all weekend about the questions he will ask and how best to answer them.Wish me luck. I would love to get this job.
We had a great weekend. Friday night hung out with the kids, Saturday the guys came over to play pool so the girls and I went out for a bit. Today has been a day of playing catch up. We got all the laundry done and put away, getting the kids paperwork for school tomorrow ready, downloading pictures, paying bills, and vegging out. It's gonna be another busy week here but it will all be worth it when I pack up the car and head out Thursday morning.
I'll try to update before I leave about how my interview went. Have a great week.
Also I was in the basement taking some pictures of the boys playing on the playstation and caught this shot of Brandon's hamster.

Happy Hump Day

Not much exciting here over the last couple of days. Kinsey is home sick, had Logan's parent teacher conference last night(he is doing awesome in school), and have more parent teacher conferences tomorrow night.
Still no call for the follow up interview but I did send out homemade thank you cards yesterday so they won't forget about me.(wink)
Have a busy couple of weeks coming up--Kinsey ortho appt, more parent teacher conferences, company this weekend, a trip to the scrapbooking store and getting ready for my retreat. Whew busy busy time. But can't wait to go away next weekend and crop with my best buddy.
Here is another picture from Kinsey's play:

Crazy few days..

It's been a whirlwind of running the past few days.
Friday I had to run some errands and then a job interview at 12:30. The interview went wonderful and she asked me to stay and interview with 2 managers that were hiring. My friend Heather (who works there and is a very old but great friend) and I went to lunch and then I came back for the next 2 interviews, they also went wonderful. I finally walked out of there at 3:00. I was beaming from ear to ear walking out of there. Heather even called me after work to let me know that they would be calling me for a final interview. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Had to come home from the interview get the kids ready, watch my friend Trish's girls and head off to Kinsey's play. It was wonderful. Those kids have some talent let me tell you. I went Friday night with the kids, my mom and stepdad and Saturday night with PJ, Logan, and the in-laws. I loved it!!
Both nights after the play we went out for dinner.

Saturday morning was also the CS garage sale and I made quite a bit of money.. woohoo!! But boy was I exhausted so I got in a nap before the play Saturday night.
So far today I have made my page for our CS retreat, got the house clean and worked on getting some stuff done. I still have a couple more things to get done for my scrapbooking retreat in 2 weeks and watch the race.
Keep your fingers crossed for me to get the call for the next interview.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

My friend Brooke called at 8:00 am Monday morning for me to take her to the ER..what we thought was just a virus or gas turned into a cyst so the 20 minute surgery started @ 6:00. At 6:20 th doctor came out and informed us she was a mess inside they were removing her right ovary and they think they appendix burst so they would have to call in a general surgeon for that and surgery would be at least another hour, After 2 more hours the dr. came out and informed us it was a bigger mess than they could even imagine and they had to do a hystermony, remove her appendix and clean up in there and remove a cyst almost the size of a football. So after they got her settled into her room(with a tube up her nose and hooked up to every machine they own) I finally made it back home. Only 14 hours later..boy I love hospitals So this week I will not only have my 4 to shuffle, feed and get off to school but also Brooke's 2 so Dan can spend as much time with her in the hospital at night..
Brooke wasn 't doing very well when I stopped over last night but I called this morning and Dan said she is doing much better. I probably won't make it over today since they cancelled school again because of fog and black ice. So for today we might run some errands later, then spend a quiet day at home just hanging out.

Have a great day!!!

My poor blog has been feeling so neglected lately so I thought I would come in and visit it awhile. We were bombarded with snow and cold last week so the kids and hubby were home alot. Oh goodness I was so glad when Thursday came and hubby went back to work and then Friday the kids finally went back to school. I was doing a happy dance to be able to have some quiet time even if for a few hours. Here is hubby getting in on the fun sledding with the boys.

Friday afternoon I went to Logan's school for his Valentines Day party which was super cute.

Then Friday night Kylee had a couple of friends spend the night for her birthday.

The rest of the weekend has been pretty low key. Just hanging out together, get the grocery shopping done. Today hubby has his weekly pool tournament and I am watching Nascar. Goooooooooo JR.
Until next time have a good day.

Nascar is back...

The Nascar Season officially started yesterday and thank goodness. It was the Bud Shootout last night and today was qualifying for the Daytona 500 next weekend. I love the start of Nascar season. It's so exciting. I have watched Nascar as long as I can remember and get more excited every year. Dale Jr is my main man since Rusty Wallace retired. I love Jr's intensity. He is a tell it like it is kind of guy.
So I'll be counting the hours and minutes til the green flag falls next Sunday. Goooooooo Jr.

Brrrrrrrrrr....

Here is a post I started Wednesday night and am now getting to it to finish it.It's been so cold here. So cold that the kids didn't have school Monday or Tuesday, and then 2 hour delayss the rest of this week. So it's been a crazy week around here.
Wednesday the Chloe and Daisy started fighting like crazy and it continued into Thursday morning which didn't start the day so good. I ended up getting the worst end of the deal. As I was trying to hold Daisy back and Brandon was trying to put a blanket over Chloe she bit me. After a trip to the er I am fine..Just still alittle shaken up. They didn't want to stitch or glue the bite marks for fear of infection so they cleaned them out real good and I had to get a tetanus shot. I am very sore and still having a hard time getting my hand to work but other than that I am okay. Now just have to wait and see if the Health Dept or Sheriff's Dept. show up. I really don't know why they have to since it's my dog but such is life. Chloe has to be quarantined in her cage unless hubby is home which kind of sucks but probably best for now til I calm down alittle more. Now don't get me wrong I love my dogs like my kids but that just scared me. Chloe and Daisy really are good dogs we think that Chloe is getting ready to go into heat and that brings out the fighting.
Logan had a music program last night and it was so cute. The kids show you a dance and then you get up there and do it with them. Since I had on my heals on I let PJ and Kinsey get up and dance with him. I hate to have PJ and Kinsey take pictures last night so I am kind of nervous to see how they turned out but I am not going to sweat the small stuff in life. I will post some pictures when I get them off the camera.
Have a busy weekend ahead, getting ready for our CS retreat, Kinsey's play practice, and getting ready for Valentine's Day.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Look what I caught Chloe doing last week.

Didn't your mother ever tell you if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Or better yet if you want to post mean and nasty messages to my blog then at least you can put your real name. Come on posting anonymously is for cowards. First of all don't you have something better to do with your time.. if not here are some great suggestions for you.. go play with children, go talk with your husband, go visit your family, volunteer somewhere, or better yet go stick your thumb up ass and sit and spin...

Now that I got that out I feel much better. I finally determined I am officially bored and need a job quick. I did go to a temp agency yesterday and got all registered so now just hope they call. I had to take some tests on the computer and let me tell you I don't think I did so good which is kind of ironic considering how much time I spend on the computer but I have never been much of a Microsoft Office fan anyways so I can just blame it on that (LOL).

Today I plan on getting ready for the CS garage sale, cleaning the house and getting pop tabs and pennies ready for the kids to take to school.

Have a great day!!

Another weekend has come and gone. Hubby had a big pool tournament this weekend so it was just Logan, David (hubby's cousins son) and me hanging out. We did manage to go get some groceries shopping done, house clean and lots of little things done.
Also this weekend was retreat registration for CS. We sold out in 2 minutes..can you say amazing!!! I cannot wait for it to actually be here and scrapbook with some of my favorite people. These ladies inspire me, make me laugh, and are just wonderful friends. 6 weeks and counting and it's 4 days of total fun and scrapbooking.
I really need to get busy though and start getting ready because the next 6 weeks will fly by so fast. I am finally ready to get back to doing layouts (and not just altering stuff) so need to get some page kits together.
Have a great day and for all of you getting this cold weather..stay warm.
Gina is on the left and Trisha is on the right.

Another week bites the dust.. Well another week is almost gone. Been working on CS stuff, dealing with alittle drama, and lots of cleaning. It would be the perfect week except for I haven't got my camera out this week. Dang I am a bad photographer. I am going to take that camera with me everywhere I go this weekend.

In other not so great news:
My friend Brooke received the news today that her father only has 1-3 months to live. Can I just say it suck's?? I can't even begin to imagine what Brooke and her family are going through right now. I am going to do everything I can right now to be their for her and her family and help her through this. If you have any prayers or thoughts tonight can you add Brooke and her family to them.

So I'll leave you with a picture of my Dad. I am a huge Daddy's girl which makes this even harder. So Dad I truly hope you know how much I appreciate you and love you. Go Jr.

See ya next time.

My friend Brooke is going to college to be a medical assistant and right now is taking an EKG course. So she called me yesterday and asked if I could come in and let her and a couple of other friends do an ekg on me. Stupid me said yes..nothing like hanging the girls out for complete strangers to see.
At first I was completely embarrassed but got over that very quickly. I figured at least one of these people was my friend and not all complete strangers. It was actually kind of cool to get free medical care and I met a couple of cool people.
In other news not much else going on. Got all the laundry done today, kitchen clean and worked on some CS stuff. Getting ready for our big retreat registration this weekend which means making sure the store is ready to go and posting some fun picture challenges.
Speaking of pictures I really need to get my camera books back out and start working on my photography stuff again. I have done anything with it since before Christmas.
Well have a good night!!

Tuesday, January 23, 2007

and it's 7:40 am. I never have any energy this early in the morning but today seem full of energy. Let's hope it continues all day so I can get lots done.

Had a good weekend. Spent it with friends scrapbooking and having a meeting. We discussed, made suggestions for fixing things, discussed some more for 14 hours this weekend. It was a great meeting and we got lots accomplished. So now we take all of our ideas and solutions back to our members and hope they are open to them.

I did get alittle scrapbooking done this weekend and had an aha moment. I have been stuck in a creative rut lately and decided that I was going to start doing 8 1/2 x 11 layouts to do simpler pages but then I thought why can't I do simpler pages on 12x12 layouts. I can and I am going too. I know it may seem dumb but it was big for me, so now I can't wait to get some page kits started for my next retreat in March.

What should have been about an hour drive home this weekend turned into 2 hours but that was quit fine with me because it finally snowed and I got to take some picture of the kids playing in it. And bonus we had a snow day yesterday which means Mom got caught up on some sleep and had lots of help picking up the house.

Well back to my busy day of getting things done!! Hope everyone else a productive day too!!

Friday, January 19, 2007

I just love this show and wow it was so emotional. I am such a daddy's girl and so it really just hit me when George said, "I don't know how to exist in a world where my Dad doesn't". I really don't know what I will do when something happens to my Dad. All I can say is get the padded room ready. This was also very emotional since my friend Brooke's dad is going through something like this. My heart aches everyday for her. I wish I could just wrap my arms around her and make it all go away. Brooke has been my rock more times than I can count and I hope to be able to be her rock through all of this..
But I must say the boys farting in the hallway is so my family.. that will be my brothers when the time comes. Which you know what it's just the way my Dad would want it. He would rather us drink a beer and fart than sit around crying. So I am sure that's what we will try to do.

After this episode I hope the people around me know how much I truly love them and appreciate them.

And to the woman in my vent from my last post.. You really should watch this episode and be grateful for the things you do have and quit your complaining about everything else.. life is way to short for grudges, bitching, and just being hateful.. For no matter what I will be thinking of all of and you hoping you truly take this to heart..
remember we are only guaranteed today .. tomorrow is a gift..

Well have to finish getting ready for my weekend away. We do get internet access so will try to check in and say Hi!!
