It's been a long time since I have blogged. Guess I am not very good at this. Life has been crazy. Our trip to Orlando was wonderful and relaxing. Just what we needed after a super crazy summer. Then last weekend was my CS retreat. It was wonderful, fun and also relaxing. It is so great to get away for a few days and be with wonderful friends and meet so many new friends as well. I love being with the creative ladies there. The way they create blows my mind.

Things are good on the homefront.. busy but good. We are all trying to adjust to school being back in. The kids definitely keep up us on the go.

After going back and forth all about whether to get a new digital camera. I decided you only live once and took the plunge and did it. I got a Canon Digital Rebel XT Silver 8.0MP Digital Camera w/EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Kit Depends On Lens Optical Zoom - Retail . I can't wait to get this in my hands and play with it. I have lots to learn in just a couple of days since I want to take it to Florida next week and get some great pics.
Have lots going on this weekend tonight we might go watch my little brother play football. Tomorrow morning go watch little brother play JV football and then go watch my little sister play volleyball. Then come and get ready to have our pictures taken.
Sunday we have a family reunion. Hubby has to play pool so the kids and I will go visit at the reunion.

The kids bathroom is finally done and will be ready to use in about 36 hours (after the caulk dries). We had a huge leak and even had to cut out part of the ceiling but hubby and his best friend tore out the walls and completely rebuilt them and it's done.. Woohoo.. thank goodness I love taking bathes in their so I just can't wait til Wednesday night..


On another note...I was walking down the stairs tonight and Chloe(see picture) got tangled in my feet and you guessed it I fell.. oh goodness I even had to take a trip to the ER and get some painkillers.. I think I am going to put myself in a bubble until we get back from Orlando and the retreat.. have a great evening..

September is here and summer is officially over...


So do you like?? Hubby decided he needed one of these and I actually agreed. It worried me to death to have him out on it but it will make it so nice with his new job being so close to home for him to be able to ride . Instead of the hundred's of dollars we were spending on gas.. it will cut the cost down so much and he can ride it 9 months out of the year. So to me it will be worth it in the long run.

Summer is officially over.. we had our last little event for the summer. We always go to a little fair in the town my dad and stepmom live in. My little brother and sister are in 4-H and show sheep and it's always nice to hang out with the family. Here the kids are walking the sheep while my brother and sister clean out their pen.


The kids had a ball going down this slide..they just kept doing it over and over.

The kids rode tons more rides and of course we got to have the great fair food and then home in time for the Nascar race.
Now time to get back to planning the rest of the month. We have so much to do and so little time to get it all together. Hubby and I will be leaving in 10 days for Orlando for 5 days and then I am home for 3 days and gone another 4 for some cropping time with some of my favorite people in the world.
So between getting everything and everyone ready, getting caught up on other work things, and making sure laundry and cleaning is down before I leave, I am going to be very busy.. Take care and will try to be back tomorrow.
