She is in Washington D.C on her school trip and yeah I know she has only been gone 2 days and will be home tonight but gosh darnnit I miss her and today we are suppose to get blasted with tons of snow and they will be driving in it..so I guess another day of worrying for me..sigh..

woohoo for this quote.... becausetoday is a major suckfest..Logan is sick (and this is big because Logan is never sick), and Kinsey is leaving in about 40 minutes for a school trip to Washington D.C. til Friday..oh goodness..is it friday yet?

Oh my goodness my life is now complete..directv was here this morning and installed our HD DVR..can you say pure heaven?? I can't wait to see Nascar in HD tomorrow..

away from for the weekend and to an actual scrapbooking retreat and I am actually quite excited about it. Mom needs alittle time away. But until then lots going on..had a crappy day at work which will be followed up by a meeting Monday morning..oh joy!! Kinsey leaves Wednesday night for Washington and will be gone til Friday night..oh my goodness my baby is growing up so fast.
More good news to share tomorrow..stay tuned.

We'll I did some things done on the list...
I got my nails done, dishes done, house picked up, did lots and lots of running around. We made 2 trips to wal-mart, went out to dinner and had Kinsey's play.
Today we have PJ's Aunt Ruthie's calling hours to go to and then back to work tomorrow. This is one of those weekends where I say it's nice to go back to work to get a rest.

The weather is awful here right now so I took a snow day today which translates into thank goodness I scheduled a vacation day, but guess what I got done today......NOTHING. Oh wait we did go to dinner with my brother which was incredibly stupid because the roads were horrible. Oh wait back to I got nothing done today..what the heck is up with that. Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be more productive.

I think that is quite enough for one weekend now let's see how much I actually get done.

Woohoo tomorrow is the 50th running of the Daytona 500 and my boy Jr. will be running his first big race in a Hendrick Motorsports car. This season is gonna be so dang exciting. I am absolutely pumped. I even ordered a new shirt but dang it, it won't be here in time for the race. But that's okay I can wear it for the next race. In other news we just got back from a mega shopping day. I know most woman love shopping but me not so much. They just don't make clothes for woman like me..short. But I did manage to get a new outfit for work, a new shirt and some new jammie pants..Gotta love jammie pants. Well tonight is the slumber party for Kylee's birthday so I better get off of here and get some things done so hopefully tomorrow I'll have some pictures of her and here friends to share.

And hopefully tomorrow after the race we'll see another picture like this..

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Nascar..especially Dale Jr. Last year was a year of alot of ups and downs for Jr and his team, but I just knew him going ot Hendrick Motorsports (where my very own brother works on his team as a fabricator) would be a great thing for him and it's already paid off. He won the Bud Shootout last night...WOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!! And next week is the Daytona 500..can't wait to see how he does in that.

Another busy week at work but thank goodness I am almost caught up..can you hear that big sigh of relief???
So the kids are all scattered in a hundred different directions tonight and hubby is still at work and it's so quiet in my house. For those of you with kids do you ever wonder what you did before kids? I mean I truly am enjoying the peace and quiet but it's so weird and I know I should savor it but I am use to 4 kids,a hubby, and 4 dogs driving me crazy most of the time so when it is quiet I miss that craziness. I know I am weird.
In other news can I just say that I haven't seen this little guy in 2 WHOLE weeks and i miss him like crazy.. definitely going to have to make time to head his way to get my baby fix. Can you tell I love him just alittle bit..okay he completely and totally has stolen my heart..

As I sit here tonight browsing the internet, reading message boards and blogs I realized how much I have to be grateful for. I have a wonderful husband, four beautiful children, my 4 doggies, a great family, jobs, two vehicles and a roof over our head.

I sat here reading and thinking about all the things others around me and all over the world have been going through and just realize that really what do I have to complain about. I mean my best friend Brooke lost her father last year and my neighbor Nikki very suddenly lost her mother. I don't know what I would do if i lost either of my parents right now and honestly don't even want to think about it.

Life was a lot of ups and downs last year but you knowwhat in the end life is good, really good.
I decided that it's time to stop complaining about things I can't control and just try to make the best of it. So everytime I start to get aggravated or anything like that I am going to remember the real struggles that others are going through and check myself.

I know it's not the greatest picture but our newest baby is getting so big. She is a total brat and very, very ornery but we just love her.. Poor Daisy and Rusty don't like her at all, but god bless Chloe she tolerates her. The kids love all over her and she is so cuddly.

Izzy says, "Come on Rusty I just want to play." LOL

What a week.. besides being crazy busy at work we had to make an unexpected trip to the emergency room this week. Monday night Kinsey complained alittle bit about her back hurting, but she has been working at the school and running that I thought maybe she had just pulled something or was tired. Well Tuesday morning comes and I find her wide awake on the couch in tons of pain. I tried to talk her into staying home from school but she was having no part of that so off to school she went. By the time I got home from work that night and was talking to her and my friend Brooke about her pain we thought maybe she might be having an appenditicis so off to the ER we went. 5 hours later we find out it's a severe kidney infection and let's admit her for the night to perform IV antibiotics..I start to prepare myself for an overnight stay in the hospital hen Kinsey just loses it...crying hysterically and not wanting to stay in the hospital. They finally relented and let us go home with very strong antibiotics and vicodin. She seems to be doing much better and hopefully on the mend. Thank goodness this week is over.

Today I have a vacation day and it feels so good.. We have been so slammed at work, just crazy busy. So while I am somewhat caught up I decided it would be a perfect day to take off. I plan on listening to my ipod while cleaning and organizing alittle, working on some Valentine Day gifts, taking a nap and then tonight dinner with the husband and friends and then off to a pool tournament. I really want to get a haircut but just can't find one I like so I doubt that happens today.
It will be so nice to get out of the house and hang out with grown ups tonight..if fills like forever since I have been out.
That's all thats new in my little world..hopefully yours is more exciting than mine.

But I can sum of my whole week in 2 little words:

busy and sick..
